The Irishman

An upcoming American biographical crime film
directed by Martin Scorsese and written by Steven Zaillian

Based on the book "I Heard You Paint Houses" by Charles Brandt, Frank "The Irishman" Sheeran (Robert DeNiro), a labor union official with mob connections to the Bufalino crime family, recalls his involvement in the murder of Jimmy Hoffa (Al Pacino), an American labor union leader.

Filming began back in August 2017 in and around New York City and Long Island (in places such as Huntington) and wrapped in early March 2018

CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery) will be used to de-age Robert DeNiro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci as the film will take place over several decades
