Madison Theatre Honors Sal Valentinetti From NBC’s AGT at Oscar Bash

Madison Theatre and Lord & Taylor Threw An Award Worthy Oscar Bash ~Was  A Prelude to Hollywoods Biggest Night For Film-Lovers and Filmmakers.

Friday Night February 10th, Guests Enjoyed A Little “Taste” of New York Food, Fashion, Film and FUN at “Taste Of The Oscars” honored Long Islands Rising Star Sal “THE VOICE” Valentinetti.

The Academy Awards honor the pinnacle of filmmaking, all while celebrating arts, entertainment, fashion and food. Hundreds came out to celebrate a little bit of everything Oscars, at “Taste Of The Oscars”. The entertainment industry in Nassau County, New York is growing in leaps and bounds and many of the Oscar worthy films have Long Island ties, so film-lovers and makers raised a glass and also raised enough funds for the Sal Valentinetti Rising Star Scholarship to send 3 students to the Madison Theatre Summer Intensive!

Guests had  the opportunity to strut like a star down the red carpet, taste the best of Long Island’s restaurants, wineries, pastry shops, and breweries, cast ballots, and enjoy Movie themed music by DJ Chef. This was a Celebration of The 2017 Oscars and everything entertainment, but that’s not where it ended.

After 2 hours of Pop-up Shops by Dior, Chanel, YSL, Kravit Jewelers, Red Door Spa Glam Squad, and Little Chocolate Oscar Statues made by the pastry chef at the Garden City Hotel, the crowd made their way inside the gorgeous theatre to enjoy “The Oscar Face Off” Game.  The audience participated in movie trivia with film industry executives Ramfis Myrthil, Donna Drake and Donna McKenna , and winners took home tickets to Madison Theatre. This was followed a show hosted by Broadway Star and Choreographer Buddy Casimano and Actor John Thomasen, who had the crowd engaged and entertained all night!  The incredible Glitz and Glam Fashion show, presented by Lord and Taylor, focused on ball gowns and menswear suitable for Hollywoods Biggest Night of the Year, and included models with all different shapes, sizes and ages!

In between acts,  vocalist Eli Andrews Sang  the academy nominated songs of the year Empty Chair by Sting, and Jena  and opening and closing dance numbers were Chorepgraphed by Artisitc Director of Madison Theatre Angelo Fraboni and Buddy Casimano wich also included dancers from the local dance school, Leggz.

Madison Theatre then Awarded Sal Valentinetti with the Rising Star Award, and to top if off, Sal THE VOICE sang Frank Sinatra’s “My Way”,  a great way to end the night celebrating the rich history of the Academy Awards which takes place on February 26th!
